A cold and frosty evening didn’t stop over forty children’s and youth leaders gathering at Reigate Baptist Church for the most recent n:vision Leaders Retreat on Tuesday 26th January and what a great evening it was, fantastic fellowship, sumptuous food and plenty of time and space to soak in God’s presence.

The idea of the evening is to gather for a time of Refreshment, Relaxation and Restoration, an evening to receive when so often it is all about giving and serving. The evening started with food, the menu included a starter of salmon with rocket and watercress salad followed by chicken and stilton roulades with new potatoes and green beans, then a choice of dessert.

Worship Pastor Stu Barbour and his team concluded the evening with over an hour of open and spontaneous worship, prayer and reflection. A chance to just be. To listen, to receive.  And after all that, as they left, every delegate also received a goodie bag full of great give-aways.

One delegate commented “Thank you again for a wonderful time at the Leaders event in Reigate. I certainly came away feeling ‘restored’. I feel sorry for all of the leaders who were unable to attend. They don’t know what they missed!”.

The next Leaders Retreat evening is planned for May. Keep any eye on our website for more details.
